Every year, The Program Advisory Committee headed by Registrar of Cooperative Societies,
Govt. of Tamilnadu finalizes the Annual Calendar of Training Programmes. By incorporating the
suggestions and recommendations of the committee members, Training programmes will be
rolled out. The major training areas covered in these programmes include:
- Cooperative Credit & Banking
- Cooperative Laws & Allied laws
- Accounts & Audit
- Management & Skill Development
- Human Resource Management & Organisational Behaviour
- Information Technology & Management Information Systems, ERP
- Digital Initiatives such as GeM portal, DBT, e-Commerce, IFHRMS etc.
The institute devoted it's at most care for the inclusive coverage of target participants.
Accordingly, the following group of participants is being trained:
- Officers from Cooperative department and other allied Departments were trained on
the above-mentioned subject areas.
- The workforce in PACS, DCCBs, UCBs, APCMS, CWCS etc. and members
from SHGs/PACS were also benefited.
- As a long-duration programme, an exclusive HDCM batch being conducted for the
newly recruited DRs/SIs of cooperative department.
- One HDCM programme also being conducted for private candidates (Full-time).
- Exclusive programmes were organised for Women Empowerment, Nutri
Gardening, Women safety at workplace etc.
- Design Skills, Social Networking and E-Commerce etc. were provided to Textiles /
Handlooms sector.
- Social networking, Cyber Security and Digital Services, DBT and IFHRMS
etc. were organised to Social Welfare and ICDS department.
- PACS as MSCs, Funds Management and Business Development,
Resource Management and Profit Planning, Warehouse Management etc. are the
flagship programmes for the PACS, also conducted Programme on Income
Generation through Micro / Small Business for the SHGs promoted by DCCBs
- RBI compliance mechanisms, SARFAESI Act etc. were delivered to UCBs.
- Emerging Areas in Agriculture/ Horticulture and Post-Harvest Management for
Bank Credit Resource management, Digital Banking, Fraud Prevention and Cyber
Security, Profit planning, Practical Banking, Business Development etc. were
conducted to DCCBs.
- Cooperative laws/Allied laws, office procedures, accounts & audit, workplace
resilience were provided to the officers of cooperative department and other
department.
